Troubleshooting

Qualified personnel can follow the steps below to identify issues if the Ready AC Power system is not producing energy.

Status and Error Indicators

Startup LED

One minute after DC power is applied, a short red LED flash indicates that the Microinverter startup sequence was successful. Two or more short red flashes indicate an error during the microinverter setup.

Operating LED

  • Slow blue flashing: low energy production
  • Fast blue flashing: high energy production
  • Red flashing: no energy production
  • Two red flashes: Low or high AC voltage
  • Three red flashes: Grid error

GFDI Error

The red LED flashing 4 times indicates that the master panel has detected a GFDI error in the photovoltaic array. Until the error is resolved, the LED will continue to flash red 4 times.

Never disconnect DC cables while energized. Ensure no DC current flow before disconnecting. An opaque cover can be used to shield the modules before disconnecting them.

DC/AC Conversion Electronics Not Working

Two types of problems can occur:

  • The DC/AC electronics may have issues.
  • The electronics work correctly, but communication between them and the grid is compromised.

To quickly verify if the problem is communication or the electronics:

  • Check that AC voltage is present.
  • Check that DC voltage is present.
  • Check that communication between the electronics and the grid is stable.

Troubleshooting Non-Working Conversion Electronics

  • Verify that the grid voltage and frequency are within the ranges provided in the technical specifications.
  • Check user grid connections. First disconnect AC power, then disconnect DC power and ensure the correct voltage is present on the AC network connector. Reconnect the module DC connectors and wait for 3 short LED flashes.
  • Check the connection between the AC branch and the master panels. Verify that each master panel is energized by the grid as described in the previous step.
  • Ensure AC switches are functional and closed.
  • Check the DC connections between slave and master modules.
  • If the problem persists, contact technical support.

Only connect slave panels provided in the kit to the master panel. Connecting photovoltaic modules other than those in the Ready AC Power kit may cause damage, injury, and void the warranty.

Ready AC Power is an on-grid system, and it is necessary to comply with the local grid connection regulations in the installation country.
